This blog repeats itself on purpose. Certain images return until they become a private vocabulary. What follows is not a system, only a map of the motifs that keep insisting.

Melancholy and loss

Here the archive turns outward without ceasing to be psychological. Class struggle, public art, democratic theater, and ideological enjoyment meet in the same field. The motifs overlap because the archive does. Melancholy becomes politics, politics becomes desire, desire becomes language, and language eventually returns as an image.
